Cheap Appliances

So my boyfriend and I just bought a house - subsequently we have very little money for appliances and furniture.

a store called Daniel's in the pleasant hills area was suggested to us - in that they have a scratch and dent center where you can get really good deals on stuff that's just got cosmetic damage.

OK fine.

While we did get an amazing deal - I would never ever shop there again. And I just thought I'd throw it out there to everyone else. If you want cheap, go for it, but if you want delivery when you ask for it, and actual customer service - then go somewhere else.

They were supposed to deliver a washer, dryer, and microwave on Tuesday. They called me Tuesday morning and told me they oversold on the washer and that they would deliver everything to us on Wednesday. Well, I know that in our area they deliver before noon. So when 1:00 rolled around I hadn't received a phone call or my appliances, I decided to call them. (I was only at the house to recieve the delivery as we haven't moved in yet) And the guy was like - oh, well, we still don't have your washer, they'll be out tommorow to deliver.
They deliver the products today. The first guy walks in, has mud all over his shoes - never gives me a chance to ask him to take his shoes off or put booties on or anything like that, leaves muddy footprints all over my brand new two shades away from white carpet. Never once even said a word to me except when he was leaving he shoved a cruddy folded up piece of paper in my hand and said "sign this."

I will not ever recommend them to anyone, nor will we ever shop there again - no matter how good of a deal we can get. It's not worth the hassle.
