I am looking to do a cupcake wedding cake tower. Not really popular in this area yet, but I wondered if anyone knew of a place that does them, and does them well.

Was looking at Dozen Cupcakes, but all they have are cardboard towers.

Any other places you know of that does wedding cupcake towers?

Thanks!

hi! I believe the reason Dozen does cardboard is so that you can purchase and toss it. It doesn't have to be cleaned and returned. However, I do know they decorate it so you can't even tell it's cardboard....

If you call and talk to James, I'm sure he would be willing to discuss the possibility of renting a different kind of tower. He's very flexible!

You could try Coco's Cupcakes on Ellsworth Ave., between College and Maryland.

while this is true, try their fare first. When I went and tried them, the cupcakes weren't all that amazing, and the frosting was disturbingly greasy in appearance and mouthfeel.

You can find the towers for sale on EBay, if one of the shops is willing to decorate your own tower. If you search Item #230075891610, there's a tower for sale for $61, including shipping. Then you could always resell the tower, or keep it for a future occasion.

BTW, this isn't one of those little baby Wilton towers. This thing holds 200 full sized cupcakes if it's put together with all six tiers.

Hope this helps.

I'm not sure if the woman I am useing for my wedding cake does cupcake towers but if you want I can get your her number. The sample cake she gave me was amazing.

Oh yeah, if you *do* go with one of these other places mentioned make sure you get samples in the exact style you want first. Any place trying to get your wedding business will give them to you for free.

You might want to try Kreibel's on Brookline Blvd. Their cake is amazing and they are only a mile from the Liberty Tunnels. Not sure if they do cupcake towers, but a quick phone call would be well worth it if they do. Good Luck!

I'll second the amazingness of their cake. (And their thumbprint cookies are addictive, I swear.) They're also just flat out nice people, so they may be able to work with you to find what you need.

A coworker got a cupcake tower from Giant Eagle for her commitment ceremony. It looked very nice.

I would definitely try Bethel Bakery ... I don't actually know if they do wedding cupcake towers, but they're so good it's worth asking!
